Cyclide, Check Sticker
In differential geometry, the term "cyclide" refers to a surface whose "lines of curvature" are circles. These surfaces have multiple concrete geometric descriptions related to groups of angle-preserving (or "conformal") transformations on Euclidean three-space. This image was created by rotating a product torus in the unit three-sphere (in Euclidean four-space) one-eighth of a turn so that the north pole (0,0,0,1) lies on the torus, then mapping by stereographic projection from the north pole to Euclidean three-space. This surface cuts three-space into two congruent pieces, each a half-space with a handle, and the pieces' handles are linked.
