Celeste Earrings

The mathematics of stereographic projection retrieves these banded tori from the unit sphere in four-space. The bands' edges are images of great circles, any two linked. The tori themselves are gently tilted in four-space, giving their solid shadows in three-space an enticing asymmetry. More about the math behind Celeste is explained in a shop blog post.

These eye-catching 20mm earrings are 3D printed from 18K gold-plated brass, polished to a mirror-like sheen on their outer surface, and hand-fitted with 14K gold-filled fishhook ear wires. A black velvet storage bag is included.
